Italia Eventi, an Italian agency specialised in the design and production of live brand experiences — coporate and consumer events, product launches, fashion-week activations and influencer-led formats — has agreed the sale of a majority stake to Ykone, the leading international influencer marketing group founded in Paris in 2008, controlled by Saudi-listed BinDawood Holding and present in more than 15 markets with c. 300 professionals. The transaction extends Ykone's Italian platform – built around its Milan hub and the acquisition of MB New Media Agency – into event production and experiential marketing, enabling the group to offer brands a fully integrated online-to-offline proposition spanning influencer strategy, content production, talent management and live activation. For Italia Eventi, the combination provides access to Ykone's international network, proprietary technology and blue-chip client base to accelerate growth beyond the domestic market. GC Advisory acted as exclusive financial advisor to the shareholders of Italia Eventi, leading the preparation of the marketing materials and business plan, the buyer selection process, coordination of due diligence and negotiation of the transaction documents through to closing.
